Some Context
The agency WEBSTYLER contacted me to help them create a custom website for one of their clients. The client was Leonidas, an international chocolate maker. They create chocolate moments as they say it for any pocket and or occasion. Romania has more than one franchise from this brand and even thou they represent the same brand, they are also competitors on the market. The strategy for our client was to bring the brand forward with a different website look. One other than the competitors used by the global brand. So they wanted to break the pattern and differentiate themselves from the ones that used the global pattern.
What I did
Leonidas already had a very complete and comprehensive brand book, so I focused on how to best use the brand elements so I don’t brake any brand identity rules so I studied the official websites and other competitors from around the world in order to bring the best from both and still keep the visual identity in a recognizable and appealing state. After some discussions with the client and a few meetings where I presented my research, I started working on a structure and wireframe.
Since the client wanted to have an emphasis on visuals and how their product would be displayed, I opted for an Instagram look to it and sketched out some wireframes.
